University Work

Over my time at Durham University, I have undertaken a number of academic projects as part of my BSc in Software Engineering.

This page contains the majority of these pieces of work, as obviously a lot of my time and effort has gone into them! Worth noting is that some work in some modules is done by hand, so is not included here, this contains all the work that was prepared for electronic submission.

I’m currently in the process of uploading my work onto this server, please bear with me if some of the links do not work!

Disclaimer: I have not posted these files here so that future students can cheat! I found it interesting whilst doing these assignments to look at other peoples work to take on board ideas and improve upon them, these pieces of work are entirely my own and should not be copied.

Unfortunately I do not have all of the work from this year (before I started this website), so have included here what I could salvage off the university network!

Computer Systems

  • Databases
    • Given a situation involving a theme park, we were asked to generate a SQL relational database and produce the required table structure in SQL (included inserted data), and then manually write some SQL queries for fetching information from our database
    • Download report (PDF)
    • Download queries (TXT)
  • Networking
    • The premise of this assignment was to demonstrate our knowledge of networking after the first term. The questions are not included in the report, but it should be fairly obvious what I’m talking about!
    • Download report (PDF)
  • Operating Systems
    • A simple short-answer quiz, available on request
