Is this thing still on?

Well, it’s been a while since I wrote anything here!

As part of an ongoing project to make better use of my servers running at home, this site has been migrated off of Dreamhost and is now 100% self-hosted! Rather than just migrating the old Wordpress content across, I’ve chosen to move everything to using Hugo, with the site being automatically built from Github. At some point in the future I’ll automate the deployment as well, but this is much better for now.

I’ve purged a whole lot of old content from this blog (who wants to read the ramblings of an angsty teenage nerd anyway?!), but have kept the permalinks in place for the more popular content. My project writeups have also come across, but for now I’ve also removed the ‘Portfolio’ content, as it was mostly a bunch of out-of-date university work that was just ripe for plagarism anyway.

Who knows, I might even get around to posting some new content as well!
